Katrin WellmannAgile Coach @ Prowareness Germany

    About Katrin Wellmann
Katrin Wellmann, born 1976 in Cologne, used to be an Industrial Designer. She worked for 10 years as an entrepreneur with her product design team in different product fields, such as Medical Device Development, consulting and leading innovation projects. After brief flirts with being a teleshopping show host, accreditation process manager, university lecturer and Scrum Master for an IT consultancy, she “found her vocation” as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, Scrum Trainer and, finally, Agile Coach.

Today, she is successful in training and coaching development teams in different fields to discover their agility, with Prowareness WeON Germany. Since physical product development is where she came from, she now seeks to support
and further agility in this realm.

From her point of view, it’s long overdue to awake agility in Germany’s production industry and she loves being part of this digital and agile transformation as Coach and Trainer. In her spare time, she trains to be a Systemic Coach and a PST in order to keep improving her skills continuously. Also, she loves travelling with her two sons

About his session – Agile in physical product development
The Digital Transformation is ON, definitely. But what about agility in the production industry of physical products?

In this session, you will find out that agility supports the process of product development outside of Software as well – making use of the advantages of digitization at the same time.

You will learn what specific factors to look out for in differentiation to Scrum for Software development, while making full use of the framework – and how to implement agile principles successfully, as already proven in several case studies you are introduced to.
